Build your own model of the EPR

It's here at last - the follow-up to the legendary "Konvoi" cardmodel.

To mark the occasion of the contract to build the new EPR in Finland, AREVA NP has issued a cardmodel of this evolutionary Generation III+ PWR.
The model kit is available as of mid-September 2004. Consisting of 32 A3-sized sheets with more than 3,000 parts, this kit offers the art of modeling at its best. But beginners, too, can also use the kit to build a very attractive architectural model of the EPR (just 220 parts) in less than 60 hours.
For more information about the model, please visit the model designer's website: http://www.mtp-studio.de/epr-online/uebersicht.htm.

Download a 1:800 scale cardmodel of the EPR

This pocket-size model of the EPR looks good on any desk! From 347 parts on 6 sheets in A4 (letter) size you can build a handy but attractive architectural model of the EPR in less than 40 hours, which fits easily on a base plan of A3 size.
First download the kit with its building instructions (PDF, 4 Mo), then print the cut-out sheets on long-fibered uncoated offset paper (0.12 mm thick, approx. 120 g/m²). It is recommended to laminate the ground plan (two pages A4/letter size) to a torsion-free base plate (e.g. fiber board or FOREX). Local book-binding or framing workshops will do this at reasonable cost.
If this is your first ever cardmodel, just download the Guide to Cardmodelling (PDF, 440 ko) in four languages. It will give you valuable hints for producing a really neat model.
